We seek a qualified and experienced Logistic Manager to join our busy team in Auckland. This is a full-time position, and you need to work at least 30 hours a week.

Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation of goods from factory to end-customers (domestic and international).

  • Develop and optimise freight routes and transportation methods to reduce cost and delivery times.

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and 3PL providers; negotiate contracts and monitor service levels.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international transport laws, customs regulations, and biosecurity requirements.

  • Manage documentation and customs clearance processes for exports, including shipping instructions and certificates.

  • Track and report key logistics KPIs (e.g. on-time delivery, freight cost per unit).

  • Investigate and resolve transport issues, delays, or damage claims.

  • Forecast transportation needs and plan for peak seasons or special projects (e.g. large export consignments).

  • Stay current with global logistics trends, technologies, and risk mitigation practices.

The successful candidate should ideally have:

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree or five years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Problem-solving abilities

  • Great people skills both with fellow workmates 

  • A good level of physical fitness

  • Accept flexible working hours

  • Honest, trustworthy & well presented

  • Comply with our health and safety policy

  • Be drug and alcohol-free
