We seek three experienced Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join our busy team in Auckland. This is a full-time position, and you need to work at least 30 hours a week.
Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

Assemble and install machines efficiently to ensure no delay in productivity

Test the machine to ensure its smooth operation

Select the right tools and equipment

Ensure raw materials and tools are adequately stored, and all tools and equipment are maintained in a mechanically sound and clean condition

Report to management about the material costs, quantities and machine requirements
-
Inspect the equipment for proper functioning on a regular basis
-
Adjust the machine for products with different materials, shapes, sizes or any special requirements
-
Carry out regular maintenance for mechanical systems and machines
-
Troubleshoot faults in the machines and carry out appropriate actions, analyse data and modify the machine’s design to ensure no delay in production

Ensure all the related safety and security regulations are met. Minimise and eliminate the hazards caused accidents or incident
The successful candidate should ideally have:

A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or three years of relevant work experience

Pay attention to details and time requirements, in all aspects of daily work

Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team

Problem-solving abilities
