Carpenter

We are seeking reliable, qualified carpenters for a variety of projects within the Canterbury region. We are seeking experienced professionals in both residential and commercial spaces for an immediate start. We are after individuals who take pride in their work, connect well in a team environment and have a can-do attitude.

What will be involved?

•  Understand and implement carpentry work based on plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform precise framing, formwork, installation, and finishing tasks in residential, commercial, and infrastructure settings.
• Complete tasks including framing, flooring installation, cladding, and the installation of windows, doors, and cabinetry.
• Collaborate with site managers and other tradespeople to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality construction projects.
• Guarantee all work complies with building codes and company standards.

What Skillford is looking for:

• Qualified or time-served carpenters with relevant industry experience
• Competency with tools, measurements, and health and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret plans and construction documentation
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Valid Site Safe and/or ConstructSafe card (or willingness to obtain)
• NZ Residency, Citizenship, no visas or sponsorship can be provided for this role.
