Job Description :
The role will include, but not limited to:

Assist licensed plumbers with installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply and drainage systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Carry and organize tools, equipment, and plumbing materials to ensure smooth workflow on the job site.

Help troubleshoot plumbing problems such as leaks, low water pressure, or clogged drains by observing and reporting issues.

Cut, measure, and fit piping according to specifications, using saws, pipe threaders, and welding equipment under supervision.

Prepare work areas by removing obstructions and protect surrounding surfaces before starting plumbing tasks.

Clean up job sites after work is completed, disposing of debris and sanitizing work tools.

Follow safety protocols, including wearing PPE and adhering to company and OSHA regulations.

Document daily work activities, including time logs and materials used, and report to the supervising plumber.

Participate in training sessions or on-the-job instruction to develop plumbing knowledge and practical skills.

Maintain a professional attitude and communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and occasionally customers.
Job pre-requisites:
-
At least two years relevant working experience and preferable to be gained in NZ locally

Relevant qualification in carpentry is preferable but not a must
-
Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

physically capable to perform heavy work be able to work overtime
-
excellent work ethic and great time management passion for the industry.

The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

Job Salary : $28.00 – 30.00
