Onward Concrete Ltd is seeking two skilled and motivated Formwork Carpenters to join our residential foundations crew.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality foundation work and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, collaborative crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end construction of Residential foundations
  • Site set-out, excavation marking, and preparation
  • Formwork construction, pod placement, steel fixing
  • Reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans
  • Participation in the concrete pours
  • Site, yard, and tool maintenance
  • Pre pour / post-pour and H and S documentation is completed
  • Delegating tasks and supporting low-skilled labourers
  • Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for daily site work
  • Upholding a clean, organised, and safe job site

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in formwork, concrete work, and steel fixing
  • Ability to read and work from plans with minimal supervision
  • Solid understanding of on-site health & safety practices and related paperwork
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude and team focus
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of thinking ahead
  • Be able to speak and understand English

Requirements

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and medical screening
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Driver’s licence

Will be subject to random drug testing on site
