We are looking for TWO Architectural Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role in preparing architecting drawings. 

Summary

Job Title:         Architectural Technician

Hours:              40 hours per week

Hourly wage:          $31.61-$35.00 hour based on your skillS

 

Main Duties

  • Preparing architectural drawings and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Developing plans, sections, elevations, and construction details
  • Assisting with building consent and resource consent applications
  • Ensuring designs comply with New Zealand Building Code and local council regulations
  • Liaising with architects, engineers, and consultants as needed
  • Attending site visits and preparing related reports
  • Managing and organising project documentation
  • Supporting the design team throughout different project phases
  • Maintaining accuracy and meeting project deadlines
  • Following company health and safety procedures

Requirements

You must either hold a Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field

or 

At least 24 months of relevant experience
