Five Star Airconditioning & Ventilation Limited is a growing well-established business specializing in HVA industry. We are a friendly team of people dedicated in providing outstanding services and products.

We are looking for a Full-time role in Auckland. We need someone who will be a vibrant person with great people skills, a positive approach to their work and the ability to cope with pressure and remain calm and professional throughout the day.

 Your Working hours will be minimum of 30 hours to 40 hours from Monday to Sunday (which include some public holidays) as per roaster. Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $28 to $32 per hour.

For this role your key responsibilities are

·       Identifying and analysing requirements for installation of equipment such as Heat Pumps, Ventilations, Air Conditions, Security Cameras, Alarm Systems, etc.

·       Support installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.

·       Follow instructions and work under supervision.

·       Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading piping.

·       Installing equipment

·       Bolting, soldering, riveting, welding, and brazing pipes to connect equipment, and checking alignment and accuracy of fire.

·       Examining and testing equipment and identifying faults.

·       Repairing equipment and testing

·       Re-installing equipment

·       Operate hand tools and power tools safely.

·       Providing appropriate equipment induction to customers regarding use of equipment and preventing faults.

·       Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues.

·       Assist in checking systems for faults and helping resolve issues.

·       Learn to conduct continuity tests and insulation resistance tests.

 Key requirements 

·    To be successful you must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience or should have level 4 or higher qualification in Electrical.

·       Good command of the English language

·       Highly organised and flexible with the ability to prioritise and multi-task

·       Able to work with limited supervision and at times may be left on their own.

·       Previous workplace references required

·       Clean character background

·       Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace
