Location: Gordonton, Hamilton
Payrate: $24 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:

• At least 6 months of relevant experience.
  or

• At least Level 2 or above relevant qualification.

• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily milking routines, including setup, cleaning, and operation of milking equipment.

• Feed and monitor the health and wellbeing of livestock.

• Clean and maintain animal pens, milking sheds, and other work areas.

• Carry out general farm maintenance, including fencing, spraying, and irrigation support.

• Assist with calving, herd movement, and treatment of minor animal health issues under supervision.

• Follow all on-farm health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

• Maintain records related to milking, feeding, and animal health as required.
