We are seeking a highly organized and Hands on Individual to join our team as a Publication Delivery Manager. This dynamic role combines efficient management of publication distribution and Staff Management.
Key Responsibilities:

Print daily morning Delivery report for all staff and yourself. Ensure any missed deliveries are highlighted for staff to take note.

Sequencing run card as per most efficient route through route smart software.

To ensure that all papers are delivered to NZ Herald subscribers and Retail outlets in a timely and professional manner. Follow up with Staff in morning prior to cut off to ensure on time deliveries are performed by staff.

If any staff is running late investigate the reason, assist with delivery completion to ensure delivery to subscriber as soon as possible and inform NZME morning controller of any delay

Offloading and Counting – Assist Truck Offload NZ herald and Magazines etc from the truck to central location.

Perform Delivery of your own allocated area in timely manner.

Redeliveries – Perform Redelivery until 9:30AM on Weekdays and 9:45AM weekend and public holidays.

Take note of repeated redeliveries and identify reason for repeated missed deliveries and provide solution.

Should be comfortable working outdoors during night times from 1:00AM – 9:30AM
Requirements:

Previous experience delivering newspaper, understanding of route management will be highly desirable.

Computer literacy is required and understanding of MS excel (for reporting) and Routesmart Software is desirable.

Full NZ Driving licence essential
