Busy hair salon situated in East Tamaki，Auckland is looking for 2 hairdressers to join our team. You will be rostered to work at least 35 hours per week for this busy role, full-time position, immediate start.

Job Description for This Position

  Conferring with customers to determine their hairdressing needs, preferences, and specifications.

  Provide a wide range of hairdressing services to our customers, including cutting, coloring, and styling.

  Shampooing, conditioning, and drying customers’ hair.

  Recommend hair care products to customers.

  Ensure that salon equipment and work areas are clean and well-maintained.

  Keep up to date with the latest hairdressing techniques and trends.

 Work with the team to create a friendly and welcoming environment for customers.

 

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

 Be qualified with at least 2 years working experience as a hairdresser in Hairdressing or Beauty Salon OR Level 4 minimum certificate in Hairdressing or Beauty

Health and safety conscious

 Be able to work unsupervised and good communication with customers  

 Be enthusiastic, motivated and show initiative

Meet client expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

 Be self-motivated, punctual and ready to work

 Be able to work on the weekend or on public holidays

 

Depending on skills, experience and qualifications, the salary will range from $27to $30.00 per hour.
