About the Role:
A fixed-term opportunity (starting August 2025) has become available for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to support multiple sites across the South Island. This role will involve working closely with senior leadership and project teams to drive project performance, financial clarity, and operational efficiency.

You will be instrumental in mentoring team members and supporting project leads to enhance profitability and manage financial outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly revenue and cost accruals
  • Contribute to monthly financial reporting with revenue commentary
  • Maintain a twelve-month rolling financial forecast across multiple studio locations
  • Collaborate with senior staff to ensure accurate project revenue forecasts and update regularly
  • Conduct project profitability reviews and lead implementation and monitoring of related initiatives
  • Support leadership with analysis and recommendations regarding project fees, agreements, and delivery programmes

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in finance, project management, or project accounting
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of operations management and organisational effectiveness
  • Prior experience in a project-based or professional services environment preferred
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
