Beautician

We are looking for experienced and passionate Beauticians to join our busy beauty salon in Auckland. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality beauty service and exceptional customer service in a clean, professional environment.

• Hourly Rate: NZD $25 – $30 depending on skills and experience

• Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours per week

• Type of work: permanent full time

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, massage, and polish application

• Apply artificial nails, acrylics, gels, and nail extensions using professional techniques

• Create custom nail art and designs based on client preferences

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised workstation and tools

• Provide clients with advice on nail and skin care for hands and feet

• Identify and refer any nail or skin concerns that require medical attention

• Recommend and promote appropriate nail care products and services

• Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Stay current with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy

• Skilled in acrylic, gel application, and nail art

• Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours if required
