Machine Operator

We are looking for a Earth Moving Machine Operator for our client, you will be required to work in various sites across New Zealand, with weekly guaranteed hours of at least 30 and a gross hourly rate of $30 per hour.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, you will be responsible for deliveringthe highest quality workmanship.

Job Duties:

• Operating all sort of heavy earth moving machines, such as excavator, bulldozer,etc.
• Selecting, fitting and removing attachments for various heavy earth movingmachines.
• Working from drawings and instructions.
• Servicing and maintaining the equipment to make sure the good performance.
• Working closely with other project members to ensure health & safety rules areadhered to.

Experience:

• 1 year recent experience or more experience in operating excavators (12-30 Ton or30-40 Ton) is preferred.
• Experience in operating Articulated Dump Truck and associated civil constructionworks mobile plant is preferred.
• Skills in excavation (include trenching), loading and both bulk and final trim work.
• Skills in both rough cut and fine finishing work.
• Familiar with the use of GPS systems.
• A current driver’s license is essential (an overseas license might be acceptable) anda WTR Endorsement is advantageous but not essential.
• Attention to detail, hardworking and motivation.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug test and pass.
• Self-motivated and a pro-active attitude.
