About the role:
Due to continuing growth NSB is looking for experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on role working with and overseeing a team of industrial coatings applicators. You will help the team to achieve quality standards, ensure site Health and Safety, meet project related deadlines and be the client’s first point of contact on site.

This role is based at the Napier site. You may work on location at a variety of infrastructure projects nationwide from time to time.

About you:
You will come with extensive experience in all aspects of the application of industrial coatings and be competent in tasks such as water blasting, abrasive blasting and other methods for preparing surfaces, mixing product and applying coatings. You will take pride in producing quality work, be professional, reliable, punctual, respectful and be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

For this role you will have:

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present information to clients.
  • Demonstrate organisational, coordination and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience working productively unsupervised while managing a small team.
  • Quick learner and ability to follow and drive quality, health & safety and site procedures.
  • Good initiative and problem-solving skills when faced with new or challenging tasks.
  • Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role (climbing, lifting, overhead work).
  • Good basic computer skills.
