Job Title: Store Manager – Korean food Restaurant 
Location: Invercargill 
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time 
Hours: Minimum 35 hours and maximum 45 hours per week, rostered across 7 days (including weekends and public holidays) 
Pay Rate: $27 - $30 per hour 

 

 

 

About the Role: 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead the operations of our vibrant Korean-style chicken fast food store located in Invercargill’s busiest malls. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to deliver exceptional customer service while managing a team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards 
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and compliant environment 
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships 
  • Prepare staff rosters and supervise team 
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver top-tier service 
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and drive profitability 
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally 
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on order planning and quality control 
  • Coordinate marketing efforts and in-store promotions 

Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Have at least 1 year’s of relevant experience in hospitality or restaurant or fast-food service. 
  • Diploma level qualification or higher preferred 
  • Leadership quality, good communication, and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience in Korean or Asian-style Fastfood is a plus 
  • Ability to perform under pressure during peak hours 
  • Knowledge of New Zealand food safety standards
