Carpenters

Bulmen Ltd is a well-established Auckland-based construction company. The business is growing and expanding and we are looking for two Carpenters to join our team.
This is a permanent role with full time and weekly work hours range from 30 to 40. A successful candidate will be required to work 5-6 days per week Monday to Saturday. In return we offer a supporting and friendly working environment and competitive pay rates of $31 - $32/h.

Priority will be given to local NZ residents/citizens.

Job tasks include:
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements;
Structure examning and preparing structure timers;
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material to determine and organise materials;
Ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts based on requirements of projects;
Wood material cutting and preparing;
Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install;
House and roof framing, sub-floor and floorboards laying, panels, roofs, doors, walls and windows installing;
Duties not including RBW

Skills and qualifications:
At least 2 years relevant work experience is required
Be energetic highly motivated and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
No criminal covictions
Current driver's license is an advantage
