Cabinetmakers fabricate and repair wooden furniture, and fit and assemble prepared wooden parts to make furniture. They also may design and construct built-in furniture and cabinetry, often working with materials like wood, laminates, and veneers.


Tasks Include:

  • Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required and dimensions

  • Cutting wood, and laminates to size

  • Assembling prepared parts and fastening them using glue, dowels, nails, screws, and clamps

  • Operating woodworking machines, such as saws, jointers, and mortisers

  • Repairing or replacing damaged furniture parts

  • Installing built-in furniture like wardrobes and kitchen cabinetsRequirements 

  • Level 4 certificate or 3 years' experience 
  • Applicant will get decent salary on the basis of knowledge and experience 
  • 30 hours per week guaranteed
  • Must be physically fit
  • Able to pass the drug test 
  • Ministry of justice check will be done
