SHEN'S STEEL LIMITED located in Onehunga, Auckland, We are seeking five skilled and detail-oriented Welders to join our construction team. As a Welder, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster. You will be responsible for:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.

  • Apply appropriate welding techniques to join metal components and structures.

  • Monitor and adjust welding equipment settings to ensure consistent quality and structural integrity of welds.

  • Clean and finish welded joints using tools such as files, chisels, and grinders.

  • Inspect and test completed welds for defects, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.

  • the employee may be required to carry out any other tasks and duties which are reasonable necessary or incidental to the position. 

About you:

         1.At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field OR NZQF Level 4 qualification or above         

         2.Physically fit with a clear criminal record
