 We are a construction Company providing building and infrastructure services in New Zealand. We are currently looking for 1 carpenter and joiner, who are willing to working in a challenging environment.

 We require the following: -

 Our ideal candidate must be:

 Heavy lifting could be a part of the job.

 Applicant must be physically fit in order to be recruited for this role.

 A pre-employment medical and drug test will be a part of the recruitment process.

 Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends.

Be able to meet Immigration New Zealand requirements to obtain a work visa if required.

 Key Responsibilities:-

 ·       Must be able to handle the material safely.

·       Participate in all safety procedure

·       Regularly check quality of work to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Must be able to examine drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications.
  • Must be able to select and work with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, synthetic wood and other engineered wood products
  • programming and controlling computer-aided design and computer numerical control machines to mark out, cut and shape components
  • Must be able to understand and work from drawings and specifications to make cabinets
  • Must have skill and physical strength to install cabinetry in bathrooms and kitchens and commercial fitouts
  • Should be able to fit hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves and other associated hardware.
  • Able to study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
  • Must be able to order and select timbers and materials and prepare layouts.
  • Must have ability for cutting materials and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts.
  • Be able to erect the framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures.
  • Must be able to nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
  • assembling, preparing and cutting wood joints and to form structures and fittings which are ready to install
  • Must be able to construct concrete formwork and repair existing fittings
  • may work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals
