Hairdresser
The salon is located in Newmarket, Auckland, and is an established name, especially amongst the local community, dealing with the upper end of this niche market. Working hours: 30-40 Hours per week, and we are currently open 7 days a week. Must be available to work on the weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays). Hourly rate $27.

We are looking for up to 3 experienced hairdressers.
Tasks Include:
● providing advice on hair care, beauty products, and hairstyles;
● shampooing hair and conditioning scalps;
● colouring, including balayage and highlights, permanently straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions. We use Arimino and Deartech products, imported from Japan, for our renowned Japanese straightening and digital perming services. Work experience in these specialized services is highly advantageous.
● cutting hair with scissors, clippers, and trimmers
● styling hair into up-dos, including bridal hairstyling, braids, and adding hair extensions;
● shaving, trimming, and colouring eyebrows;
● cleaning work areas and sanitising instruments;
● arranging appointments, answering telephone calls, and collecting payments;
● may clean, colour, cut, and style wigs and hairpieces.
Requirements:
● At least 5 years of relevant experience as a hairdresser
● Great customer service skills
● Good work ethic
● Team player with a good attitude
● Be very accurate with attention to detail
● Ability to solve problems, including handling complaints from clients from time to time
