To support their continued growth in the New Zealand market, they’re looking for a driven and technically capable Account Manager | Sales Consultant to manage key accounts and identify new business opportunities.

The Role
This is a solutions-focused sales role where you'll work across both existing accounts and new business opportunities. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to understand their operational needs, deliver tailored equipment solutions, and support them from proposal through to post-sale implementation. With a strong product suite and a customer-first mindset, this is your chance to make a genuine impact in the primary food sector.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell a comprehensive range of packaging equipment and automation solutions

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth strategies

  • Identify and develop new business across the North Island and top of the South Island

  • Conduct client visits and manage your territory effectively

  • Prepare tailored proposals and investment justifications—with assistance from technical and sales support

  • Collaborate with global teams and local partners to meet customer needs

  • Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and client demonstrations

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting

 About You

  • Proven experience in technical sales—ideally in capital equipment or packaging

  • A natural relationship builder with strong commercial acumen

  • Ability to understand complex client operations and offer practical solutions

  • Consultative and confident in managing long sales cycles

  • Technically curious, with a hands-on approach and engineering mindset

  • Highly self-motivated and professional, with strong time management skills

  • Willing and able to travel domestically, and occasionally internationally
