Scaffolders

We are looking for one Scaffolder to join our team.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $28.00-$35.00 depending on your experience and skill level. You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, full-time position and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Saturday but can be up to 50 hours weekly.

Paid fortnightly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave. Opportunities to upskill. 

Candidates need to be able to start immediately and work lawfully in New Zealand 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

-Unload scaffolding equipment on site

-Erect scaffolding and utilise height safety equipment

-Set Base Plates on the ground at regular intervals

-Put up the standards and attach the horizontal tube

-Fix the scaffolding to the building or structure to ensure optimum structural integrity

-Lay planks on scaffolding for trades to walk on

-Fix Guard Rails and scrim where required.

-Dismantle scaffolding when completed

-Complete variations on site where required

The successful candidate must have:

-At least two years of on-site relevant work experience or level 4 carpentry skills certificate

-Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills

-Regular and reliable attendance

-Physically fit and able to handle the heavy workload

-Quality workmanship and eye for detail

-Commitment to health and workplace safety

-Strong ability to work independently

-Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required
