We are looking for a Modular Finishing and Façade Installers to join our team on a full-time basis at our modular building site in Northcote, Auckland.
About the Role – Modular Finishing and Façade Installers (Multiple Vacancies)
We are seeking experienced Modular Installers to join our growing team for a high-profile modular construction project. From part of a high‑performing crew that delivers factory‑made modular buildings through both the production line and the construction site. You will install all interior and exterior prefabricated components. Your deep knowledge of hand/power tools, modular build methods, and construction‐site practice will be critical to quality, speed, and safety.
Key responsibilities:
● The internal modular finishing which includes installing prefabricated kitchens, benchtops, flooring, wall panelling, bulkheads and skirtings and bathroom fittings.
● The external modular finishing which includes positioning and bolting prefabricated rails, hanging aluminium rainscreen panels, installing prefabricated glass balustrades and erecting level fin-wall assemblies.
● Assembling lifting gear by securing pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures, and installing cables with appropriate counterweights
● Performing any post construction maintenance which could mean acting as an on call technician for rectifying any internal or external defects, diagnosing recording and repairing homeowner warranty issues. It also means performing any scheduled preventative maintenance on common areas and facades.
● Lead by example on Safe Work Method Statements and PPE compliance, and assist and advise on materials and machinery upkeep.
● Assembling modular by fastening tubes, braces, and other components to create stable bases and build structures
Required qualifications and skills
● At least 3 years of relevant Experience or at least a relevant level-4 qualification.
● Skilled in safely using power tools like drills, saws (mitre and table), routers, laser levels, and scissor lifts (MEWPs).
● Knows how off-site building parts are made and installed, and setting up modules in the right order.
● Focus on quality and safety – Familiar with the health and safety rules on construction sites.
● Problem‑solving attitude, customer‑facing professionalism, teamwork.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Pay & Benefits
● The hourly rate starts from $27 to $33 for full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 35 hours guaranteed.
