We are looking for 2 Modular Installation Supervisors to join our team on a full-time basis at our modular building site in Northcote, Auckland.

About the Role – Modular Installation Supervisors

Your ability will directly impact on the success of the project by fostering strong collaboration between the teams, ensuring smooth delivery, high-quality finishing, and on-time completion.

In addition to responsibilities during the construction phase, this role will continue into the post-handover maintenance stage. You will act as the point of contact for any complaints or building-related requests, helping residents settle in comfortably and confidently resolving any concerns.

Key responsibilities:

        Supervise the internal modular finishing which includes installing prefabricated kitchens, benchtops, flooring, wall panelling, bulkheads and skirtings, bathroom fittings doors and windows.

        Ensure all internal elements are precisely aligned and well-integrated between modules after onsite connection. Address and rectify any joint complexity or aesthetic issues to achieve a seamless and high-quality finish.

        Must also maintain a strong understanding of how all modular components connect to ensure build accuracy and minimize defects.

        Act as the primary communication link between the Vietnam factory team and the New Zealand site team.

        Oversee the planning and coordination of all finishing materials shipped from Vietnam to the New Zealand site while monitoring inventory and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery and prevent material shortages or construction delays.

        Work closely with TLC logistics teams to reduce costs and maximize efficiency without compromising project timelines.

        Quality Assurance and project support through inspecting and verifying the quality of all installed finishes ensuring compliance with design and construction standards.   

        Post Construction Maintenance and homeowner liaison by leading the maintenance team during the post-handover phase to address any defect or warranty issues reported by homeowners and serving as the primary contact point for new homeowners, addressing complaints, requests, or concerns related to building finishes or functionality. 

Required qualifications and skills

        Proven experience of at least 3 years in the construction industry or a relevant level 5 diploma or higher.

        Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, especially in logistics coordination and team collaboration

        Experience or strong aptitude in customer-facing roles, ideally in post-construction support or building maintenance, is highly desirable

        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay & Benefits

        The hourly rate starts from $30 to $35 for full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 35 hours guaranteed.
