Powdercoater/Sandblaster

Join our established SME in Cambridge, where our dedicated and reliable team delivers the best quality powder coating to our customers.

We are looking for a motivated individual to become a valuable part of our factory team. Work will primarily be sandblasting & powdercoating, but with some general duties to assist the team where required.

Hours will be a minimum of 40 per week with potential for optional extra hours during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Powder coating pretreatment and preparation

Powder coating application *Sandblasting

Forklift operation

General maintenance, health & safety, and housekeeping

Quality control throughout all processes

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

*A minimum of 2 years' experience in spray painting or powder coating 

*A minimum of 1 year of sandblasting experience 

*Welding/basic engineering - not essential but preferable

*Strong desire to work in a practical environment

*Reliable with excellent timekeeping

*Takes pride in producing quality workmanship

*Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills

*Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting

*Drug-free (zero tolerance; random drug testing may apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

*Experience in powdercoating or spray painting

*Welding experience

*A valid driver’s license and F endorsement forklift license (desirable but not essential)

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
