We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding steel frames and components for granny flats, cabins, and portable buildings. This role is pivotal to ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work specifications.

· Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding tasks to manufacture steel frames and other components.

· Operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring precision and quality.

· Assemble and fit steel and metal parts in accordance with engineering drawings and project requirements.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, following health and safety policies and best practices.

· Inspect welded joints and finished products for quality and consistency.

· Collaborate with other team members (carpenters, fabricators, and site staff) to ensure seamless project execution.

· Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.

· Perform other duties as required.

 

The ideal candidate must have the following:

At least 2 years of relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.

Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.

Must be flexible to meet the early morning and late-night shifts.

Ability work well and hard under pressure, independently and in a team.

Physically fit in any conditions - hot, cold, dusty, indoors or outdoors.

Long-term, full-time commitments needed.

Able to pass a police check and a drug test.
