What We Offer:

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Class 1 trucks safely for residential and commercial furniture moves

-Manoeuvre trucks into loading/unloading positions with care

-Load and unload items carefully and efficiently

-Secure load safely to avoid damage and loss

- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and in good working condition.

-Plan routes and ensure timely and professional delivery of goods

- Maintain detailed and accurate delivery records, ensuring compliance with all relevant company procedures and documentation standards.

- Adhere to all road safety regulations and transport guidelines, ensuring safety for yourself, others, and the goods you’re transporting.

- Deliver goods in a professional manner, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

 

What We’re Looking For:

- Must hold a current and valid Class 1 full license  
- Clean driving record

-Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage

- Strong understanding of road safety standards, transport laws, and compliance requirements.
- Punctual and reliable individual who can be trusted to show up for work on time and complete tasks efficiently.
- The role requires physical stamina to manage the demands of loading and unloading goods and long driving hours.
- You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, working closely with colleagues and customers alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, to meet delivery schedules and client needs.

Pre-employment drug test and a Ministry of Justice check and suitable references required
