We are looking for suitable candidates for the following position to join our growing company based in Auckland.

Gardener Assistant 

Role responsibility:

  • Assist the gardener in maintaining and constructing gardens and landscapes
  • Assist the gardener in planting and plant care, gardening, weeding and mowing
  • Responsible for health and safety checks 
  • Flexible to work at different locations
  • Attention to details to fix things
  • Able to lay down turf and synthetic grass

You must have the following qualities: 

  • Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage
  • Ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions. 
  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment 
  • Ability to start work immediately
  • Good communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Flexible to work at different locations 
  • Must be physically fit to carry out daily tasks which involves heavy lifting, loading, unloading and operating manual machinery etc. 
  • Able to work on weekends/early morning start 
  • Able to pass drug test and Ministry of Justice check.
  • Valid Class 1 full drivers licence to commute to work sites 

Full-time, permanent with minimum of 30 hours of work per week,

Pay starts from $26 to $32 per hour, depending on skills, knowledge and experience.
