Truck Driver

We are looking for 2 truck drivers in a full-time permanent role at J&H Movers Limited. The role is for a min 30 hours to max 40 hours per week at $30-$35 per hour.

You should have at least one year of relevant driving experience.

You should also have a NZ full driving license or the ability to gain a full license for the role.

You should have forklift endorsement.

The job responsibilities are –
Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading;
Comfortable using lifting and tipping devices for loading and unloading;
Ensure safety requirements are met while loading and unloading vehicles;
making regular quality checks of the truck to ensure they are safe to drive;
estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight;
ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage;
verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.
