🌟The Opportunity

Our client is a creative manufacturing specialist in temporary branded environments—think bespoke pop-ups, experiential activations, exhibitions, and field-day displays. They turn bold ideas into immersive 3D experiences that help top brands captivate their audiences.

To fuel continued growth, they’re seeking a sales-driven Business Development Manager to uncover new leads, win clients, and grow revenue across both B2B and agency channels.

Based in West Auckland, the business is well-established, successful, and expanding. You’ll be backed by a talented team of Project Managers and creatives who handle design and delivery—freeing you to focus on what you do best: forging relationships and securing new business.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospect and build new client relationships across corporate, agency, FMCG, retail, and corporate venues or event centre's

  • Pitch creative display and activation concepts—both indoor and outdoor

  • Work closely with in-house design and project teams to develop tailored solutions

  • Attend client meetings, industry events, expos, and field days to grow the network

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals

  • Provide ongoing account support, ensuring clients come back again and again


What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development in solution-based sales

  • Proven experience in events, experiential marketing, displays, custom-built solutions, or similar industries

  • A hunter mindset – confident in prospecting, cold calling, and opening new business opportunities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong internal reporting capabilities

  • Professional, engaging presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire

  • A genuine passion for branding, creativity, and delivering exceptional client experiences

  • Natural energy, charisma, and the ability to build rapport with both corporate and agency stakeholders

  • Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team

  • A positive attitude, strong negotiation skills, tenacity, and a proven ability to close deals

  • A full New Zealand driver’s license and flexibility to travel to nationwide events on occasions
