Job Summary
Bookkeepers are responsible for maintaining and evaluating records of financial transactions in account books and computerized accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain financial records and balance accounts using manual and computerized systems.
• Monitor cash flow and lines of credit.
• Prepare and produce financial statements, budgets, expenditure reports, and analyses using account books, ledgers, and accounting software packages.
• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and bank deposits.
• Reconcile accounts against monthly bank statements.
• Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management.
• May be required to prepare forms reporting business tax entitlements and obligations, such as the amount of goods and services tax (GST) paid and collected.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
- Diploma certificate in Finance or Accountant;
- At least 3 years relevant working experience
- Strong planning and organising abilities.
- Proficiency in digital engagement and accounting software.
- Numeracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
