We are one of professional scaffolding companies based on Auckland. We are seeking some scaffolders to join us.

Job Title: Scaffolder

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

Talk with clients and discuss their needs and requirements

Calculate loadings and design a suitable scaffold strcture for each situation

Check worksites for hazards

Order and co-ordinate transport of scaffolding components

Load and unload scaffolding gears from trucks

Erect scaffold strctures

Fit and bolt tubes, support braces and components to form bases and build up scaffolding

Lift and position sections of scaffolding

Erect guard rails,  lay planks and hang safety nets

General site clean ups

Dismantle and remove scaffolding from building sites

Any other duties the emplyer may resonably require the emplyee to perform

Skills and knowledge

Scaffolders need to have knowledge of: 

How to calculate loads and forces

How to erect and dismantle scaffolding

How to use and care for scaffolding equipment

Building regulations

Workplace and contruction site safety regulations

How to identify potential hazards

How to interpret building plans and diagrams

At least 2 years scaffolder work experience or Scaffolders with a New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding(Level 4) or higher qualification

Positions for this job: 5

Gross pay rate: $27.00--$34.00/hour

Hours per week: at least 30 hours/week, but may work longer hours, and at weekends
