Unipharm Healthy Manufacturing Co., Ltd, a fast-growing and reputable industry leader, is expanding its team to keep up with increasing business demands.

We are looking for experienced and committed product specialist to join our friendly team, in a well-established business located in Rosedale Auckland.

 

The Role

The position of product specialist involves leading the development and execution of product strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define and execute product strategies, including product vision, road-map, and go-to-market plans.  

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, features, and functionalities. Develop product specifications, user stories, and wire-frames to guide product development.

3. Coordinate cross-functional product development teams, including design, R&D, production and marketing to ensure successful product delivery. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, consumer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.

4. planning details of production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements;

5. Manage the product life-cycle, including product launches, updates, and end-of-life planning.  

6. Collaborate with sales teams to provide product training, professional technical support, and support for product positioning. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and customer needs to drive product innovation.

 

 

Key Requirements

1. At least Bachelor's  degree in business, food science, marketing, or a related field.

2. At least two years relevant experience as a Product Manager (in food, dietary supplement, fast-consuming product or relevant industries) or in a similar role, with a successful track record of driving product development and launches. Demonstrated experience in conducting market research, gathering customer insights, and defining product requirements.

3. Strong understanding of product management principle, including product strategy, road-map development, and market analysis. Be familiar with the relevant policies and regulations on food and health products.

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

5. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative product ideas and solutions.

6. Strong collaboration and team-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

 

Pay rate for this role is $30.00 $35.00 per hour. Minimum 40 hours per week.
