Looking for construction labourers on behalf of our client, SB Civil Ltd

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Shovelling and hand digging.
  • General civil labouring duties.
  • Ensuring a safe workplace for your team and members of the public.
  • Traffic management
  • Spotting machines
  • Road works - asphalt, concreting, paving
  • Reading laser levels
  • Operate a variety of hand-held machines and power tools like compactors, lazers,
    concrete mixers etc.
  • Driving vehicles to and from the site.
  • General infrastructure maintenance & repairs.
  • Taking direction from supervisors.
  • Ensures the site is always left clear and tidy at the end of each day, or when a project
    is finished.
  • Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to
    management.
  • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Concrete cutting (both ground and hand saw)
  • Collaborating with the project team to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives

 

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have at least 6 - 12 months relevant experience or Level 1 qualifications/ Secondary education graduate
  • Having relevant certification is an advantage
  • Must be physically fit
  • Must be willing to undergo medical exams such as drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be dedicated to health and safety in the workplace
  • Must have no criminal record
