Plasterer

We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Plasterers to join our team. Starting pay offered
from $30 - $35 hourly will be fixed according to the skills and experience for 30-50 hours a week.
However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per above payrate. In
this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

• Apply plaster, cement, and render coatings to concrete walls, retaining walls, and foundation structures for protection and durability.
• Cover joints, holes, and surface imperfections on structural surfaces using plaster or sealant materials, then smooth using tools and sandpaper.
• Straighten and level uneven surfaces, such as wall bases, footings, and concrete forms, to ensure structural consistency. 
• Mix plaster, cement, or mortar as required, using appropriate ratios for different construction needs and site conditions.
• Apply protective render or base coat finishes to exterior foundation walls, retaining walls, or basement areas as needed.
• Work collaboratively with machine operators, concreters, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Follow project drawings, specifications, and site instructions to meet required standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties as instructed by the supervisor or site manager.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least two years of proven experience as a plasterer or in construction worker role.
• Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Pre-employed drug test and police check is required.
