Worx Automotive Limited, established in 2017, is located on Greenmount Drive in East Tamaki, Auckland. We specialize in automotive servicing and repairs, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while building lasting relationships with our customers.
We are currently offering two full-time and permanent positions. We are looking for dedicated and experienced individuals to join our team of automotive professionals.
Position: Auto Mechanic
The main tasks of the role include:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering mechanisms.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as tune-ups and fluid flushes, according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and maintenance activities performed on vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and repair recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Perform other related tasks requested by the employer.
The successful applicant shall:
- Have work experience as an Auto Mechanic, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, or
- Have a New Zealand Certificate Level 4 or higher qualification in Automotive Engineering or Motorcycle Engineering.
- Be familiar with diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic scanners.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Have effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Be responsible, hardworking and physically fit.
- Be able to work overtime when required
- Have no drug or alcohol issue
- Have no Criminal convictions record
