The Opportunity

The Hamilton team is seeking a skilled and motivated Order Flow & Project Planner to join the Planning and Logistics Team, this is a great opportunity if you want to step up in your career and use your skills at an international level.
As an Order Flow & Project Planner, you will play a key role in managing material requirements, inventory control, demand planning and the end-to-end purchasing for Capital Goods projects across Oceania. You will gather and incorporate all sources of sales and marketing intelligence to produce the best possible operational demand plan, helping to maintain service excellence and stock optimisation while aligning with business needs.
This is a pivotal role requiring collaboration across internal teams and external suppliers, with a strong focus on planning accuracy, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
A typical day
- Maintaining demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy
- Actively engage in and contribute to local & global projects
- Carrying out the company’s inventory management strategy
- Manage all sales orders for both Oceania and overseas exports
- Work with suppliers to ensure availability of inventory to meet our forecasts
- Oversee sales order processing, vendor purchase orders and delivery follow-up
- Improve forecasting accuracy through collaborative planning with global teams
About you
To be successful in this role you will have strong analytical and organisation skills with demonstrated experience in forecasting and materials planning. A good understanding of supply chain processes and project management, you are adaptable and collaborative, thriving in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills allow you to collaborate across teams and functions with an understanding of financial and operational impacts.
Additionally, you will possess the following:
- Experience in materials planning and project coordination, ideally in an industrial environment
- Strong organisational and decision making skills
- Proficiency in forecasting techniques, statistical analysis and ERP systems (preferably SAP/APO)
- Advanced Excel and solid MS Office skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
