🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Study construction plans and work specifications to determine required roofing materials
  • Erect ladders and scaffolding to ensure safe access to roofs
  • Remove existing roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces
  • Install and secure waterproof underlays using nails or staples
  • Measure, cut, and install roofing materials such as tiles, shingles, and metal sheets
  • Align and fix roofing materials in overlapping rows using nails, wire, or cement mortar
  • Cut materials to fit around roof structures including chimneys, vents, and ridges
  • Seal joints, flashing, gutters, and other exposed areas using sealants or mortar to ensure waterproofing

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR a relevant qualification
  • Physically fit and able to work in various weather condition

Remuneration:

  • Hourly wage: NZD $28.00 – $30.00 (commensurate with skills and experience)
  • Overtime and weekend work may be available depending on project needs

Working Hours:
Employees are required to work at least 30 hours per week, with a rostered schedule between Monday and Sunday.
