Welders

These are permanent full-time roles working for a nationwide recruitment agency – TheSuccess Group, you will be required to work in various sites across New Zealand, withweekly guaranteed hours of at least 30 and a gross hourly pay rate between $29.66 and $35.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, will be responsible for delivering thehighest quality workmanship.

You will be required to undertake the following job duties:

• Reading blueprints and drawings to understand job requirements.
• Cutting, shaping and bending metal sections.
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing proper metal sections.
• Welding metal sections using various techniques, bolting and riveting.
• Working closely with other project members to ensure health & safety rules areadhered to.
• Completing all structures to the highest quality workmanship.

You will be required to have:

• 3 years’ experience or more experience in welding or metal fabrication area ispreferred.
• Ability to work on various welding machinery.
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• A good understanding of fabrication.
• Have high quality welding capabilities.
• Be fit and able bodied.
• Be reliable and self-motivated.
• Be able to pass a drug test.
