Karmaa Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Joiner to join our growing team. 
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality Furniture and joinery work — interpreting 
plans, preparing and assembling timber and other materials, and ensuring the accuracy and 
finish of all structures and fittings. 

About the role 
You’ll work closely with our site supervisors and team to: 
• Study drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation 
procedures. 
• Order, select, and prepare timber and other materials, marking out and cutting to size. 
• Assemble and join cut and shaped parts to form structures and fittings. 
• Erect framework, roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and check trueness of 
structures. 
• Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior cladding, and door and window frames. 
• Assemble prepared components to form finished fittings ready for installation. 
• Construct or repair formwork, fittings, and existing structures as required. 
• Work with timber, laminates, perspex, or metals as appropriate for the job. 
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive worksite at all times. 

 

 

What you’ll bring 
✔ At least 1 year of proven carpentry/joinery experience 
✔ Knowledge of building methods, materials, and standards 
✔ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications 
✔ Skilled with tools, cutting, assembling, and verifying accurate workmanship 
✔ Strong problem-solving and communication skills 
✔ Able to work independently and as part of a team 
✔ Awareness of workplace Health & Safety (training provided if needed)
