Work Location: Auckland

Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours/per week, open 7 days per week, rotating roster), Permanent role

Our pay: $30.0 - $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

We are a well-established hair salon company based in Auckland. We are now looking for 3 Hairdressers to join our supportive team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients about their designated style and treatment
• Design the best hairstyle for the client to fit their face structures 
•  Use different types of scissors, trimmers and other tools to create hairstyles clients want
• Shampoo, dry, cut, colour and trim client’s hair
• Shave and trim beards and moustaches
• Provide a variety of hair care treatment regarding to different client’s hair health situation
• Maintain record of the use of hair colour and other material
• Maintain supplies needed for hair styling
• Advise on stock purchasing and ordering, and prices setting according to the market price
• Work with a variety of hair lengths, types and textures
• Use a wide range of hair treatment products and tools
• Give clients advice on how to maintain a hairstyle or look
• Adhere to the cleanliness and salon safety standards to ensure all clients are safe in their care
• Stay updated on new hairstyles and trends to provide informed and resourceful recommendations to clients

Our requirements:

• Have at least one year solid relevant experience, or
• Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in Hairdressing or equivalent qualifications/certificates
• Excellent customer service skills and attitude
• Good verbal communication skills
