With a strong reputation for excellence, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented Cabinet Designer to bring our customers' dream kitchens to life.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer with experience to join our team at Supreme Kitchen at East Tamaki in Auckland. This is a permanent full time (40 hours per week) job in Auckland. You will be responsible for creating precise and innovative cabinet designs using Sketchup and other softwares, working closely with clients (and our sales team) to ensure every cabinet is functional and visually stunning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with clients or sales.to ascertain the intended function and each space of the cabinet.
  • Create a plan which details the layout and appearance of all installations and loose furniture.
  • Suggest appropriate materials and finishes.
  • Ensure all designs meet manufacturing requirements and industry standards.
  • Make adjustments based on client feedback and practical constraints.
  • Follow up with the clients to confirm the plan and facilitate the manufacturing.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of proven cabinet design or kitchen design experience.
  • Proficiency in Sketchup, adMas and CAD softwares.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen design principles, space planning, materials and production flows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients effectively.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English.
