We’re looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our growing team at Deep Energy as we build out a cutting-edge Electricity Wholesale Billing and Settlement Platform. This platform will support transaction processing, invoice generation, and settlement between SME electricity retailers and power generators within the New Zealand electricity market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a secure billing and invoicing platform for electricity wholesale transactions.

  • Build interfaces to support real-time and scheduled settlements with electricity generators.

  • Integrate the platform with energy market data (e.g., from EMI, Transpower, etc.).

  • Work closely with energy operations, regulatory, and finance teams to align the product with New Zealand’s electricity market rules.

  • Develop robust APIs and dashboards for SME electricity companies to manage transactions and compliance.

  • Implement audit and reporting features to ensure regulatory transparency.
