About the Opportunity:
Registration of interest are open for Mechanical TA's or Fitters or skilled/experienced  for a one week maintenance shut.
  • The work will involved basic mechanical maintenance on a large industrial plant.
  • This will run for 7 days (10 hours per day). The contract is open to both PAYE and GST contractors.
Skills & Experience:
To be considered, you will need:
  • Good basic mechanical knowledge and basic fitting skills
  • Experience as a mechanical fitter or mechanical trade assistant, with a preference for experience in large plant or equipment installations
  • A relevant trade qualification in Engineering (preferred by not essential)
  • A clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
  • Good english/communication skills and be capable of completing online inductions 
  • Safety boots and your own tools (spanners, sockets, podgy bar and hammer)
Pay & Benefits:
  • $30-$38 per hour (based on skills and experience and GST or PAYE contract type)
  • Accommodation provided
  • $60 per day living away allowance 
  • Overalls provided
  • Opportunities for ongoing project work, including potential longer-term contracts
