Painting Trades Worker

Pars Property Limited based in Auckland, specializes in high-quality Interior and Exterior Painting & Decorating Services for Commercial Buildings, large or small. We are looking for two painting trades workers to join our awesome team. 

You will be expected to mainly work at different sites in the Auckland and may also be directed to work out of Auckland throughout New Zealand. This job requires you to work a minimum of 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to work on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $30-$33 based on the candidates' experience and skills.

Job Description for This Position

• Applying paint and additional finishes to the inside and outside surfaces of buildings

• Filling and leveling materials

• Able to follow compound specifications for mixing paints and painting techniques

• Promote a proactive health, safety, and wellbeing culture

• Must be able to work to a very high standard, be self-motivated, and work unsupervised Key Requirements for Successful Applicants

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

• At least three years’ work experience in painting is required
• Relevant qualification or certificate is a bonus.
• Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role
• Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.
• A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.
• Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
