Job Description:Extrastaff, a Labour Hire Company, is hiring  full-time Scaffolders to support project work throughout New Zealand. You will work on various construction sites, erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems as required. This role is ideal for experienced scaffolders who are open to relocating or travelling as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding according to site plans and safety standards 
  • Inspect scaffolding for safety and structural integrity 
  • Work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure project timelines 
  • Operate relevant hand and power tools safely and efficiently 
  • Adhere to health, safety, and quality protocols across all job sites 


 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in scaffolding (local or overseas) 
  • Relevant scaffolding qualifications or certifications preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and scaffolding regulations 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans and site layouts 
  • Ability to work independently and travel between job sites 
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship 


Nationwide Opportunity and Travel:Although this role is listed in Auckland, we are recruiting for positions to be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements.For for clarification, these regions are 

North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.

South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
