Ozone Retail Limited is looking for an experienced Store Manager for our busy convenience store.

Job Purpose:

The Store Manager will be overseeing the daily operations of the store to ensure efficient, profitable, and customer-focused service delivery. This role includes staff supervision, inventory management, sales performance monitoring, compliance with company policies, and assisting in strategic planning to improve store performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating daily retail operations.

  • Supervise and provide training and support to retail staff.

  • Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle customer inquiries or complaints.

  • Manage stock levels and ensure stock is displayed and merchandised correctly.

  • Monitor sales and performance indicators to meet sales targets and KPIs.

  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, inventory records, and financial documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of team members.

  • Coordinate promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store marketing efforts.

  • Open and close the store, including handling cash and banking procedures.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.

  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage staff performance.

  • Strong knowledge of retail sales principles and customer service standards.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.

  • A tertiary qualification in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
