Job Description:

The role will include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for welding, splicing, repairing, and maintaining the metal structure of the roof, ensuring the integrity and safety of the structure.

• Install metal roofing, skylights, or other metal building elements according to project requirements, ensuring the roof's waterproofing and durability.

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures

• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements

• Set up components for welding according to specifications 

• Operate various manual and automated welding equipment for welding work

• Weld small and large components by using relevant tools

• Assess welded surface, structures and components to identify errors

• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes

• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps

• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

• May erect machines and equipment on-sits as requested

• Other duties may be reasonably required 

Requirements

• At least 2 years relevant working experiences with verified experience

• Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must

• Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

• physically capable to perform heavy work be able to work overtime 

• excellent work ethic and great time management passion for the industry.

• The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

• Job Salary : $28.00 – 30.00

• Full time:  30 - 50 hours per week

• Working place: Auckland Region
