We have a vacancy for a Full time Shredder Plant Operators in the Auckland region, who are prepared to thrive in a company and contribute to the smooth operation and continued success of our establishment. You will be required to work between minimum 30 hours to maximum 45 hours in a week. Our business operates throughout the week from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. In this role, you may be required to work varying shifts during the week, weekends, and public holidays.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

-        Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what type of maintenance is required

-        Operate shredder on required roster

-        Optimise output and quality of material output

-        Maintain accurate records

-        Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programs are

strictly adhere to.

-        Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas to support a safe and efficient operation.

-        Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive servicing and major repairs.

-        Conduct pre-operational checks and report any equipment faults or irregularities.

-        Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and workplace safety.

 

Key requirements

 

ü  To be successful you must have at least 1 year of relevant Work Experience or Level 4 Diploma relevant qualification

ü  Must be physical fit, reliable and punctual

ü  Must be able to show initiative

ü  Be able to work well in a team environment

ü  Be able to demonstrate initiative and possess great communication skills

ü  Clean Character Background

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 per hour to $35 per hour.
