Carpenter

Since Many of long-term clients have specifically requested services such as floor repairs, window and door repairs, roofing work, and fence repairs.

As a result, we are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis to carry out carpentry work alongside our general building maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation and repair work for flooring, doors, windows, roofing, and fencing
• Order and select required materials for projects, including suitable timber and supplies
• Install structural frameworks, sub-floors, roof frames, wall cladding, and fixtures
• Assemble and install wood structures, including framing, cabinetry, and joinery
• Repair damaged or worn building components and fittings
• Work with additional materials such as plastic laminates, perspex, and metals as needed
• Construct formwork for concrete when necessary
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as a Carpenter
• Skilled in the use of carpentry tools, with strong technical knowledge of construction and repair work
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently across various job sites
• Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident

Employment Details:

• Minimum 30 hours per week
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and skill level between $ 30.00-$32.00
